The Wylie East Band
The Wylie East High School Band is committed to providing individuals with meaningful life experiences while participating in a high-quality music educational environment. The Wylie East Band encourages student involvement in as many opportunities as possible. We encourage student participation in all aspects of The Wylie East Band. Student involvement in our organization creates an outlet for artistic expression and a place of comradery amongst like-minded individuals working together to achieve a common goal. Music itself provides lifelong experiences and teaches students essential values of self-worth, integrity, selflessness, and determination. In The Wylie East Band, we believe that the process of student involvement and participation in a musical environment will fabricate responsible young adults who will continue to impact their community positively. The Wylie East Band welcomes all individuals who seek interest in being a part of our organization. We believe that all students should be offered the experience of quality music education in a performing organization, no matter the circumstance.
